Terms of Use
Last updated: 7 September 2026
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of divin.ai (the "Service"), including creating a business profile, subscribing to a paid plan, and browsing profiles published by other business owners. By using divin.ai, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
Who we are
divin.ai is operated as a French sole proprietorship (entreprise individuelle), registered under SIREN 752 754 192, with its registered address at 2 chemin du midi, 63960 Veyre-Monton, France. You can reach us at [email protected] for any question about these Terms.
What divin.ai actually is
divin.ai does not generate, scrape, or compile business profiles from public data. Every profile is created by its own owner, published as structured, schema.org- marked-up data that AI engines can crawl. We give AI assistants something readable to work with. We do not control, and cannot guarantee, whether any specific AI engine's answer will actually cite or recommend a given business. Where your dashboard shows AI-crawler visits, that's evidence a crawler read your data, a consideration signal, not proof that any particular AI answer named your business.
Creating an account and a profile
divin.ai doesn't use passwords. You sign in with a one-time link sent to your email address, which expires shortly after it's sent and can only be used once. You're responsible for keeping access to that inbox secure, since anyone with access to it can sign in as you.
When you create a profile, the last step is an ownership attestation: you certify that you're authorized to represent the business and that the information you've provided is accurate to the best of your knowledge. We log the timestamp, your IP address, and your account email alongside that attestation, and rely on it as your representation to us, not something we independently verify at that moment. You can later choose to strengthen a profile's trust tier from your dashboard, either through a live check for a public contact or by submitting a supporting document for manual review.
Your content
You keep ownership of the business information, descriptions, and images you submit. By submitting it, you grant divin.ai a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, publish, display, reformat, and distribute that content, including to AI engines and other automated crawlers, for as long as your profile remains published, so that we can actually provide the Service. You're responsible for making sure you have the right to submit what you submit, and that it doesn't infringe anyone else's rights.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Create or claim a profile for a business you're not actually authorized to represent;
- Submit information you know to be false, misleading, or defamatory;
- Impersonate another person or business, or misrepresent your affiliation with one;
- Use bots, scrapers, or other automated means to systematically extract data from divin.ai beyond what a normal AI crawler does when reading a published profile;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another account or to any non-public part of the Service;
- Upload content that's unlawful, infringes a third party's intellectual property, or contains malware; or
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or the servers and networks it runs on.
If a profile looks inaccurate or improperly created, anyone (including a business's real owner, if someone else published it) can flag it using the "Report an issue" link on that profile's page. We review reports and may correct, unpublish, or remove a profile as a result.
Subscriptions and billing
Creating a profile is free. Self-Managed and Managed plans are paid subscriptions, billed monthly or annually as shown at checkout, and processed by Stripe, our payment provider, we never see or store your full card details ourselves. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. To cancel, contact us at [email protected] — we don't yet have a self-service cancellation button in the dashboard, and we'd rather say so plainly than pretend otherwise.
These subscriptions are for professional, business use, not for personal consumption, which is why the consumer 14-day withdrawal right under French law generally does not apply. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us and we'll look into it.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or remove a profile, or restrict an account, if we believe in good faith that it violates these Terms, is fraudulent, or was created without proper authorization. You may stop using the Service, or ask us to delete your account and associated profile data, at any time by contacting us.
Intellectual property
The divin.ai name, logo, and the site itself (its design, code, and the way it structures and presents business data) are the property of divin.ai. Nothing in these Terms grants you a license to use divin.ai's own trademarks or branding without our prior written consent.
No warranty
The Service is provided "as is." We don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any AI engine will cite, recommend, or even index a given profile, that outcome depends on systems we don't control. We make reasonable efforts to keep the Service available and your data accurate to what you've submitted, but we can't promise a specific result from using it.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, divin.ai's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost business or lost bookings, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute that can't be resolved informally will be submitted to the competent French courts.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service changes. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do, and continued use of divin.ai after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
